That said, bringing your pet to La Quinta isn’t as simple as calling up and bringing your pack of eight dogs.

While the hotel chains remained in his hands for a while, it was acquired by Blackstone in 2005 and then Wyndham in 2018. Currently, La Quinta is a great hotel chain that you can stay at for a great price. Plus, the hotel chain is one of the few hotels that welcomes cats and dogs with open arms.
What Amenities Does La Quinta Offer?
The hotel is known for being affordable for middle-class travelers, and it’s not uncommon for some businesses to host events or have people stay there for business trips. You can expect to find a television in your room, clean rooms, and most locations in the US have a pool on the property. Depending on the weather of the region, the pool may or may not be open when you stay there. Most La Quinta locations also provide you with free WiFi, room service, and stocked mini-fridges.

What Is La Quinta’s Pet Policy?
La Quinta is flexible with their pet policy but the company does have a few standards. When you’re staying in a room, you can bring up to two domestic pets with you per room. This means that if you and your family are staying in a single room, you can bring two pets with you. However, if you have two rooms, you can bring up to four pets with you.
Another part of La Quinta’s pet policy is that animals that stay in your room can’t exceed 75 pounds, and this includes both animals. For example, you can have two smaller dogs that weigh 20 pounds each, but two dogs that weigh 40 pounds each would put you over that limit.
You also have to consider cleaning schedules and coordinate with the staff if you need any cleaning accommodation. The staff can’t clean your room when your pet is present, so it’s important to schedule times with them to allow them to clean the room. La Quinta doesn’t allow you to bring your pets to the resort for free. The fee is $20 per pet per night. So, if you have two pets you’ll have to spend an extra $40 to bring your pets. That said, there is a cap on the amount of money you have to spend, which is $40 per stay. This means that you can stay for three nights with one pet and stop paying the fee after the third night. Each location is unique with this policy, so make sure you notify hotel staff before you check-in. In fact, some La Quinta locations won’t charge you to bring your pet at all.
